The JAECOO J8 is equipped with a two-liter engine with a capacity of 249 hp and a maximum torque of 385 Nm. The engine reaches this figure from 1750 rpm and maintains it up to 4,000 rpm. Such good engine traction in a wide range of revolutions has a positive effect on the acceleration dynamics and, as a result, on the comfort and safety of the driver and his fellow travelers.

Adaptive Cruise Control ACC
In addition to the normal cruise control action (maintaining the speed set by the driver), it can maintain a distance from the vehicle in front. The minimum set speed limit is 30 km/h.
Forward Collision Warning System (FCW)
When the system detects an obstacle ahead and the car approaches it too quickly, without using all the capabilities of the standard braking system, it emits an audible signal and displays a warning of a possible collision on the instrument panel.
Lane Departure Warning/LKA
Monitors the position of the vehicle relative to the lane marking lines in real time by analyzing the image from the frontal video camera. If a lateral shift of the vehicle to the lane marking line is detected, the system acts on the steering control in order to attract the driver's attention (LDW) and help the driver keep the vehicle within the original lane (LKA).
IHC Automatic High/Low Beam Switching System
Automatically switches the high beam on and off depending on the situation and surrounding environment to ensure optimum use of the headlights when driving at night.
Blind Spot Monitoring System BSD
When driving, parking, opening doors, the system monitors the traffic situation in the blind spot. An alarm signal is sent to the left or right mirror in real time if a target enters the blind spot.
Rear Cross Collision Alert (RCTA)
The RCTA system is activated when the vehicle is in reverse (selector position R). If another vehicle approaches transversely from the right or left behind your vehicle and the conditions for issuing a warning are met, the indicator in the outside rearview mirror starts to flash and at the same time a moving arrow appears on the Around View Monitor screen, warning the driver of the risk of a collision.
